Andrew produces and sells compost to neighbouring farmers and the market in his region. Depending on the nature of the compost, Andrew’s pricing ranges from 3 to 4 USD per 25kg. The Maak Association provided Andrew with a loan to purchase an inverter to improve the efficiency of a solar panel system he already had installed. This upgrade increased Andrew’s production of poultry compost for agricultural projects, allowing him to not only maintain his business during the Lebanese economic crisis, but also to expand it from two to three lines of production.
